Over the years I’ve struggle finding that perfect mascara. One that won’t smudge, flake or give me spidery eyes. So far I have learned that there’s no such thing as a perfect mascara, but you can get very close. In my search of mascaras I have found three that I can say I absolutely love and they are currently on rotation in my collection. The first one in my list is the Maybelline Great Lash Mascara. This is not only a classic mascara but a cult favorite. I remember purchasing this back in high school and always loving how it made my lashes look. I never had issues with it flaking or giving me spidery eyes. Though I did have the occasional smudging, but it was nothing that Q-tip didn’t fix. When it came to opening it I did have to request assistance since I don’t have a good grip in my hands. So if you’re like me and have low hand mobility you might want to ask for initial assistance just to get it open. If you don’t then just open that bad boy and start layering some mascara on them lashes! My second favorite is the L’Oreal Voluminous Million Lashes. This mascara truly does what it says it does by giving your lashes amazing volume. And to be completely honest, what first attracted me to this mascara was its shiny gold packaging and that it looked easy to open. LOL. Thank goodness I fell in love with the formula as well. Had a little flaking under the eyes but nothing major. Definitely a buy again product! Finally it my third favorite in the mix is Benefit’s they’re Real! mascara. Out of the three mascaras this one is the most expensive one. A friend of mine gifted it to me and I absolutely love it. The only reason why this mascara is my third favorite instead of my top favorite is because it’s a little too over my price range. Mascaras should only be kept 2 to 3 months hence my reason for not splurging on expensive ones. Though I must say, this mascara makes my lashes look super full and longer than any other mascara I’ve used. It hardly flakes or smudges which makes it a winner in my book. As for opening it, I needed assistance at first but then I had no issues with closing it and opening it. The packaging has four corners which made it easy for me to grip it and screw the cap on and off.
